This is the first edition of Pablo Minguet e Yrol series Arte de danza a la francesa. The Privilegio of publication is granted on July 2nd, 1737. The book contains an unnumbered folio with advertisement following the page 22. It is placed between the first part dedicated to steps and arm movements, and the second part, dedicated to the minuet. This might indicate that these two parts could have been published independently (even though the page numeration is continous). According to [Osés, 2009], citing thesis La música en las fuentes hemerográficas del siglo XVIII español, referencias musicales en la Gaceta de Madrid y artículos de música en los papeles periódicos madrileños by Ignacio Sustaeta Llombart, the Gaceta de Madrid announced the publication of the first edition on July 16, 1737.

Some time back (but not at the time of writing this note), two more copies were available online on BNE website: R/14607 (also marked as J-4a-35-fila1) and a copy with unknown call number (marked with J-4a-37-fila1 and inscription Soy de la libreria de Dn. Antonio de Hozes). The latter copy title page possess additional inscription: Añadido toda la escuela con 60 laminas finas. It is believed to be the reference to [Yrol, 1760?].
